Our mission is to organize a unified body that represents each Asian organization and its members. We aim to serve the Rutgers community at large by serving as a mechanism by which organizations can collaborate, share strategies, and share information.

About Us

Founded in 1999, the Asian Student Council was established to unite and foster collaborations among all Asian student organization in Rutgers University. Presently, ASC serves as the Umbrella to all of these organizations and has its own position on the Rutgers University Student Assembly. We are a governing body that is comprised of Representatives from various student organizations. Each organization has the ability to voice a honest opinion within the Council, to ensure that all voices are heard, executive board and members alike. The Representatives from these organizations consist of executive board members and chosen committee members.

Our Credo

1. To serve as a liaison forall Asian organizations to a. Rutgers University Administration b. Rutgers University Student Assembly 2. Serve as a means to discuss and solve a multitude of student issues and serve as a forum to inspire a proactive approach to such issues. 3. To aid in crisis prevention or help alleviate any problem situations that have occurred within your organizations.
